Densigraphix, today, announced the release of new compatible color cartridges for use in the Canon imageRUNNER C2550, C2880, C2880i, C3080, C3380, C3380i, C3480 (GPR23) series copiers.

“These new compatible color toner cartridges are a great aftermarket solution for Canon dealers because the C2880 machine that uses these toners was released in November 2006 and is still in production. Moreover, the newest model, the 3480, was only introduced in April 2008, so the MIF will continue to increase for quite some time”, comments Dana J. Valley, Vice-President of Sales.

Supplies for these units include four drum/developer units; estimated yield for the black unit is 70,000 prints while the color units are 60,000 prints. At this time there are no compatible or remanufactured drum/developer units available. The series ranges in speed of 26CPM color and 28CPM black for the 2880 & 30CPM color and 34CPM black for the 3480. The complete series are available as full featured MFPs including: Printer, Network Printer, Scanner, and Faxes, (Stand alone & internet, network) Stapler and saddle snitcher. All the machines also include Canons MEAP (Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform) development architecture which allows the ability to embed custom applications directly into the machines.

Mitch Schwartz, Director R&D and Quality Assurance states, “All our cartridges are 100% new-build, non-patent infringing products which carry the Densigraphix Product Warranty. Our tests results indicated excellent color rendition, print yields in excess of OEM and image density equal to OEM with zero background density. The color scale optical density was equal to OEM.”

As with all Densigraphix products, the Canon imageRUNNER C2880 new compatible color toner cartridges undergo stringent quality assurance testing to ensure that they meet or exceed OEM equivalent density, yield and consistency from batch to batch.
